In September, 2017 Katherine Sapna (Director CTS, Pakistan) and Asher Sarfraz (Chief Executive CTS) had several meetings in Europe to map, prepare and organize for the transnational mobilization and participation in several conferences based on persecution. Meetings were fruitful of productive discussions on the significance of an inter / transitional convergence of struggles, protests and resistance in this era of persecution on the basis of once faith.
However, it is a moment of turbulent, violent, multiple crises with an open end, Mr. Asher Sarfraz Chief Executive and Katherine Sapna Karamat Director CTS had meeting with Jörg Macheil, the pastor of the church Koinonia (Calvary Chapel Hannover Germany) on Tuesday, 10am to highlight the issues of Christian Persecution in Pakistan. The pastor assured CTS for the regular prayers and support in the work for persecuted.
CTS got a great opportunity to have sitting (meeting) with 2 TV Channels in Oslo Norway and discussed about the current situation of Christians in Pakistan, dated on 19th Sep, 2017. CTS executives also took part in the seminar organized by Jan-Aage Torp and also being interviewed regarding the matter of Christian Persecution in Pakistan.
The team also had meeting with a Pakistani lawyer and human Rights Activist, who is speaking for and defending the persecuted Christian minority in Pakistan.
Director CTS Pakistan, Ms. Katherine Sapna also got opportunity at Koinonia Church (Calvary Chapel) Hannover to speak as voice of victims whose are voiceless and suffering and also shared her experience with the persecuted Christians in Pakistan to show the picture.
