Christians’ True Spirit (CTS) Donated Water Cooler to Shakina Old Home Youhanabad Lahore for the Old Residents.
On July 15, 2015 CTS team visited Shakina Old Home Youhanabad Lahore. CTS met with 2 sisters (Nuns) belong to the congregation Charity of Jesus and Marry who take care of 13 old people in the Home for last several years. They also informed that 5 of them are seriously sick.
Sisters informed the team that they depend on donations to support old people in the Home. They faced difficulties for cool water for old people in this hot season and the people have to bring water themselves for their drinking from the water cooler nearby school. Which seemed difficult for the people especially who sick.
CTS team was allowed to greet Old people in their rooms. Especially a sick man with bed sole, he was in great pain. Sisters informed the team that doctors have suggested a special kind of mattress for him which would be helpful in healing his bed sole as well as decreasing pain. They also requested help regarding medical concerns of the sick. CTS team did not commit any help for the mattress but we pray for the sources and wish to support this man in his bad time. Anyone who wants to support this old man may contact CTS. The residents were happy to have water cooler at their home.
